In 2000 Aracely landed the lead role in the telenovela Maria del Carmen in the Abrazam muy Fuerte that translates into English as"Embrace Me In a tight portrayal of the character in the role of Fernando Colunga and Helena Rojo. Aracely won the Best Actress Award for the El Heraldo de Mexico Awards 2001 in her role as Maria del Carmen in the telenovela. In the following year, she played Perla in Las Vias del Amor a Mexican production by Emilio Larrosa for Televisa. She also sang the theme music for the film. Aracely stopped her career on the big screen in 2008 to be the host of the TV program Todo Bebe venture into the theatre. Aracely began her singing of nursery songs as a tribute Francisco Gabilondo Soler - a Mexican composer, performer and musician of music for children who was also known under the name Cri Cri. Aracely became an Billboard Latin Music Awards nominee three times in 2003 for her album Solo Tuya. In 2005, she released Sexy with the help of A.B. Quintanilla. She composed two soundtracks for La Patrona, including Juntos tu y yo" and La Patrona. In 2014, Aracely mentioned that a new song would be made available, but it's not happened as of yet.
